Seventeen Diamond Edge Concert Experience

So I went to Seventeen Diamond Edge in KL last Saturday, got to be honest that a big part of the reason why I actually want to attend their concert is because I hoped that I got too see them covering TVXQ's song like they did during their previous concert in Seoul. //A Cassie's instinct//. Also, the reason I was introduced to this boy band is because of their cover of Mirotic by TVXQ too. Another reason that's encouraging me to actually buy the ticket is I WANTED TO SEE JEONGHAN'S SILKY HAIR LIKE OMGOSH HIS HAIR IS HAIR GOALS FOR EVERY FEMALE //I guess its a kind of a fetish?// , but he permed his hair during <I don't wanna cry> comeback so~ well I still like his face so I bought the ticket after asking my friends if any of them are willing to go with me, well most of them liked kpop, but not many of them are willing to pay to go to a kpop concert because we're so broke trying to survive in the society //A college student's sad life//. So there's this one girl, I'm not gonna state her name but her initials as kv //A gentle reminder: she's a bit crazy// said that she'll go with me. So somehow, we bought the ticket (And the fact that we bought a category 2 ticket which is quite pricey kinda broke my tiny little heart T^T), and waited for that day to come.

To be honest, both of us weren't hyped. Like, because Seventeen is still kinda a rookie for us, and we've just got to know them. I mean, of course we kinda liked them, but not to the extend that we're crazy of them. So it's like "yeah we're going to see them woots...."//Sorry to all the carats out there :3 //. We bought the ticket in July so we waited for like 2 months, but it didn't felt long, well to be fair, we didn't even think of it and that is why it didn't felt long. So the day before, we planned that we're going to meet up at 3 infront the LRT Station in BK but being the kind of person that I was, of course it didn't go quite well as it was planned. I reached the station at 3.15, it was raining so heavily and we couldn't find any parking. KV told me that i should just side park beside the road but i refused to and kept going around at the area, until it's already 3.45, then i gave up. I SIDE PARKED BESIDE THE ROAD. //it's like im violating my own principle.// The fact that I've keep on going around that area just to find a parking, until the rain actually stops really broke my mentality :/

So we got down and went to ate first, because you can't bring food into the concert venue. By the time the food came, it's already 4:00pm. It was funny, it's funny because the day before, we actually planned to arrive there at 4 and we were worrying whether they would let us into the stadium for seating, but in reality we're still eating and was not even on the way there. So anyway, we ate until 4.30 and immediately board to the LRT. On the LRT, we kept talking //i bet everyone is judging, but we still kept talking// Time passes very fast because we kept talking so in the blink of an eye, we arrived the venue. I think that the fact that we arrived later than what we plan was good, because we didn't need to wait long to enter the venue, unlike those fans who has been waiting for very long. so we entered the venue, and looked for a place. // trust me, it's the best spot ever// WE GOT TO SIT RIGHT INFRONT THE AIRCOND!!! For the whole 2hours 30 minutes long concert, plus the time we waited in the venue, we did not sweat a single drop!//that's a thing worth celebrating of//

So from 5++pm we have to wait until 7:30pm, only the concert will start, so we talked, ALL THE TIME. We did alot of disgraceful stuffs, like in the stadium, they were playing seventeen's MV and we were like "what song is this?","I don't know."// i'm sure every carats there were silently judging us HAHAHA// but we didn't care. And we went on saying that the seats in the stadium were not full and that seventeen are just rookies, they wouldn't dare to be late. When we were chatting, the fans shouted and we were like WHAT WHAT?! but it turns out to be their bias showing up on the big screen and both of us just staying there be like uhhh ok sure. So time passed and it's 7 already. An MC came out saying stuffs like "ARE YOU READDAYYYYY" and got everyone all hyped up, and even got us counting-down like "10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!"....and then he went back in. "IM LIKE BRUHHHH WHATCHA DOIN" okay okay mayb he's just tryna get us all hyped up, BUT BRUH u got my hopes all up just to throw it back down. So everyone is just shouting there for awhile, then stopped, and went back to mind their own business.

So we continue to chat, because the fans were singing along to their mv, me and KV was like "you think they could listen to this at the backstage?" and "maybe they'll upload this on their youtube channel."// its like we're newbies to this fandom, though it's the truth// So SHARP 7:30pm, their vcr started to show up, and the lights went off. //NOW I KNOW SHIT IS GETTING REALL// and the vibe really struck into me from the top of my head to the tip of my toe. It's like, im getting goosebumps, from seeing them, MOVING. INFRONT OF ME . ITS THEM . ITS JEONGHAN . OMG ITS SCOUPS . OMGGEEEE MINGKYUUU . OHMAIGAD //and so on// They were wearing outfits with different colors, and it was very colourful. Then, the song started. It was Pretty U, I loved that song //mainly because Jeonghan was the one that does the point part// I kept asking KV "Where's the Sofa like THERES SUPPOSED TO BE A SOFA THERE"// It was surreal, listening to this song, seeing their choreography in reality. After Pretty U it was Adore You, their debut song. Both song hyped up the crowd, not to mention there was this group of fans shouted like no tomorrow behind us //we can't even listen to them// I mean, I understand that they were too hyped to see their "oppas" but like, PLEASE, think of others too. There were a number of songs we've never heard before HAHAHAHHA it was awkward. Everyone was partying and then there's us, sitting there, be like "ooohh this song is not bad" //yep, its the first time we've ever listened to it// and i bet the fans around us were judging us so hard HAHAH.

I really liked the fact that throughout the concert, jeonghan kept coming over to our side like OMFG JEONGHAN WHY U SO PERF but was lowkey dissapointed over the fact that it was obvious that everytime during jeonghan's part, no one shouted. So anyway, they started to perform according to units, starting from performance unit with their song OMG and Highlight //if i'm not wrong because the only one i remember clearly is the vocal unit// welll it's the first time me and KV heard of these songs, ummm i'd say highlight's melody was pretty nice and the choreography of OMG was nice too. After that, it was the vocal unit, //YAAYYYYY// and they started off with <Habit> and <Don't Listen In Secret>. DONT LISTEN IN SECRET WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONG IM SO HAPPY THEY SANG IT ASDFGHJKL. For Hiphop Unit, My favourite song was "If I" even though it was my first time listening to it AHHAHA. I MEAN, THEY DID THE HIP THRUST!!! HOW CAN U NOT FALL IN LOVE! Also, Jun and The8 Performed <MY I> there. I liked the choreography. At around 9:20PM, they had their Ment, all members went on stage and a few talked, FINALLY during that time, jeonghan was called out to dance by hoshi //THANKYOU HOSH IM SO GRATEFUL// and joshua danced too, and they mentioned that they heard the fans singing before the concert at backstage, and that the carats are really good at singing //such sweet boys T^T// AND THEN THEY SAIDDDDD THEY GONNA SING THEIR LAST SONG IM LIKE WHAT. WHAT. I HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH OF JEONGHAN THOU //though i know there's gonna be an encore stage *wink*// and their last song is <울고 싶지 않아>, meaning " I Don't Want To Cry" and I bet it was what most fans are waiting for. So after an emotional speech, they started the song. Listening to this song on live, is very, very soothing, and their choreography was crazzzyyyy.

So after they left, fans kept shouting "Seventeen" and "Encore", they shouted and stopped, and shouted again, then stop again and keep repeating the same pattern, until they finally came out for encore. AND I AM NOT DISSAPOINTED AT ALL, THEY SANG SHINING DIAMONDS AND HEALING. But i was kinda hoping that they'd sang 20's. //it's ok tho cuz they sang healing haha// So anywayyyyyy, since i knew it was the very last minute, i shouted "JEONGHAN" whenever jeonghan came over to our side like i hoped he heard it // though he obviously wouldn't cause it was really noisy hahaha// but im so grateful he kept coming over to our side and like went really near to the fans infront T^T. By the way, I'm low key liking the T-Shrt they wore during encore it's soooo niceeeeeee i wanna own it. but the official one was so expensive ughhh. So after they sang the 2 song, they sat down and each talk individually, they said that it was their first time seating down and talk during this world tour //actually i'm not sure whether they said first time, or first time IN MALAYSIA. Like, that would make a big difference you know.// Also, during their talk, Jeonghan and Sungcheol kept on feeding their shippers with fanservice by interacting with each other. They promised that they'd come to Malaysia again, with a better seventeen, and said that they had fun. I actually hoped they'd stay a little bit longer but sadly they'll leave the day after :/ . 

So after the concert ended, me and KV rusheeeedd to the LRT station and kept running to get the front part of the LRT because it has less people in it. But still, we ended up standing because we wanted to be able to feel the aircond. Well, yes the front had less people than the middle section. And again, we kept talking, non-stop, I was saying that I'm hungry and stuffs, and wanted to eat later on. Then we talked about if seventeen did a cover TVXQ song, I would probably die on spot, then KV would have to pick me back home. Like, the only one who talked on the train was the both of us because I guess everyone was too tired to talk? but not for us AHAHAHA. So yeah, it was an unforgettable night for me, we went home and quickly searched for the songs that we picked an interest on //no judging// and i had an after concert depression, it's like I'm still there, i couldn't help but feel excited the whole night, unable to sleep. But i knew i had to sleep because I had work the day after. But i can't help it, everything kept on replaying on my mind. It was certainly a great experience. An unforgettable event of the year.
